The 3rd Hangang Slow Tri-Festival, a citizen-participatory festival where you can fully immerse yourself in the Hangang River at the heart of Seoul, will be held at Ttukseom Hangang Park for three days from Friday, June 5 to Sunday, June 7. Championing experience over records and rhythm over speed, this event allows participants to choose courses according to their own fitness levels and complete them at their own pace and in their own way without any ranking or record competition. Since its inauguration in 2024, it has established itself as Hangang's signature sports festival, drawing a total of 660,000 visitors alongside 30,000 race participants in 2025. You can enjoy a healthy leisure activity and share a special moment of completion while swimming, cycling, and running in the Hangang River, nature within the city.
Main Program: The Tri-Races
The core of the festival is the main program, a tri-race consisting of running, cycling, and swimming. Over the course of three days, participants will face these three disciplines as an experience rather than a competition, and as a joy rather than a record, fully enjoying the Hangang River to their heart's content.
Side Events and Programs
A rich variety of side events and programs are also prepared for everyone to enjoy, not just the race participants. Haechi Island, a water playground set against the backdrop of the Hangang River, and global exchange programs will be operated, alongside Iron Rookie, a children's tri-race consisting of running, cycling, and swimming. In addition, an array of activities will unfold, including booth programs decorated as Seoul City promotional booths, the Citizen Fitness Test to check one's physical strength, Hanbyul Masters featuring unique sports competitions, and the Haechimaek Live Stage performance program to elevate the festive atmosphere.
